Joseph Maiers, CPA
Joe has over 20 years of accounting experience split between the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience working with small and closely-held businesses in their initial start-up periods; assisting them in identifying the cash flow and informational reporting requirements. The work he performs for a broad array of individual and business clients has provided him with the ability to identify solutions to almost all tax and business situations.
- Has extensive experience addressing individual, corporate, and partnership tax planning and compliance needs
- Works with the various taxing authorities to satisfactorily resolve disputes
- Member of the Minnesota & American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
- Cathedral High School Education Foundation Committee Chair and Blue Line Club President
- St. Cloud Technical College Accounting Advisory Committee member
When Joe is not doing your taxes, he and his wife are probably volunteering. Part of Joe’s work passion - working with non-profit associations - flows into his personal life. Throughout the years, he’s served on various boards such as Child Care Choices, Inc., the YMCA, United Way, and numerous sports related associations. He delivers Meals on Wheels and has been a Big Brother (Big Brothers Big Sisters of America) for over 12 years. Being named "Volunteer of the Year" for the City of Waite Park isn’t surprising. Joe also enjoys spending time with his children both hunting and fishing or playing baseball and hockey. Needless to say, he stays busy.
