- Feed My Starving Children
Carlson Advisors employees volunteer at FMSC several times a year to pack meals for children all over the world.
- Light the Night Walk
Each year, Team Carlson, which includes employees, friends, and family, form a team to walk and raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Light The Night Walk around Lake Phalen. Walkers carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer, literally bringing light to the dark world of cancer. With support from Carlson Advisors, our friends, and family, Team Carlson raised over $3,000 in 2009.
- Second Harvest Heartland
Carlson Advisors participates with other CPA and law firms in a Food Mania Challenge, a friendly competitive fundraiser to help end hunger. Points are earned by the number of volunteer hours you put in, as well as by food and monetary donations. The more you give, the more points you earn.
- Friday Dress Down Days
Each Friday, Carlson Advisors employees can dress down for the day with donated proceeds going towards a specific charity chosen by staff.
